Ann created these party favors for the wedding of Rachel and Patrice Borne in April of 2004. The couple's families had both spent some very good times playing Scrabble during the time they got to know each other. Additionally, Patrice and his family are from France. Ann combined Scrabble letters and pieces of torn maps and other international ephemera such as stamps, literally tying it all together with raffia ribbon, to create these charming favors. The boxes were filled with delicious hand-made chocolates and French almond dragées, tucked into delicate white tulle squares. They added a whimsical and personal element to the table setting and not a box was left unclaimed by the night's end!
